Super easy limoncello
You will need:
- 1 liter of Larusée Neutral spirit
- 1 liter of water
- 500 grams of sugar
- 8 to 10 untreated lemons
Wash and zest the lemons (only the yellow part). Place it in a large container with the alcohol and leave for 10 to 15 days, stirring occasionally.
After the 10 to 15 days, prepare your syrup: boil the water with the sugar for 5 minutes on medium heat and let it cool. During this time, remove the zests from the container to keep only the alcohol. Then, mix the syrup and the alcohol and let it rest for two hours.
Finally, pour the mixture into a bottle, filtering the liquid with a cheesecloth. Let it rest for a week and then taste it.
Important: you use only the zest of the lemon and not the juice. Remember to make something with it.
