Eau de Neuchâtel

CHF 54.90

Born in the very land where absinthe was born, Eau de Neuchâtel is a fresh, uncomplicated blue absinthe. Distilled in our copper and bronze still from “grande” and “petite” absinthe, anise, and fennel, it reveals hints of cocoa and orange, fleeting nods to Neuchâtel’s past.

In fact, did you know that the Rue de l’Orangerie in Neuchâtel takes its name directly from this historic building where Pierre-Alexandre DuPeyrou, a patron and friend of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, grew the citrus fruits and delicate plants from his estate? And did you know that Philippe Suchard revolutionized the world of chocolate in 1846 by creating the first chocolate bars in the Serrières neighborhood?

Every bottle of Eau de Neuchâtel is prepared by hand, from bottling to labeling. The color of the label’s hot foil stamping is reminiscent of the turquoise hue that Lake Neuchâtel takes on on sunny days.
